2019!
YasS!!
We made it through another year!
Isn’t the Lord great? He Sure
is.
2018 I gladly mapped out all the comfort zones :- from my elusive love
life to my Christian walk and I made intentional steps to walk out of the comfort
zones. It was NOT a walk in the park I can tell you for sure, BUT I don’t regret
any stride, fall, pain, lesson, growth.
It was the year I got to transverse
this beautiful land I call home, interact with different cultures and get my
passport stamped (Dear globe-trotter,
please roll your eyes to the back of the classroom) for the first time. This still
feels like a dream each time I look at the pictures.(on Board) I remember how I was
handed my order minutes after take off and being a newbie in the flying group I
placed my food tray on my laps and went on my business. It wasn’t until my seat
mate got his order (he is among the people who got sent to the back of the class) that
he pulled out his tray holder and placed his food tray on it, that I realized I have been
misusing my laps..(deep breath) it is well, Now I know. And you do too.

2018 was tough on some of my family and friends but even in
their dark moments they ministered to me greatly. Their resilient strength and unshakeable
faith were proof of God’s presence. It was BEAUTIFUL to say the least. I am more than blessed to do life with some of the most amazing humans!
I let go of some of insecurities that I have been holding
for decades, they were quite weighty (pun intended) I opened the closet to look
at some of the skeletons and dealt with some of them, I pray I can look under
the bed and face the monsters that lurk in the dark this year.
This year I walk in with nothing but utter faith. I choose
to put my sight down and follow the vision. When we meet on the streets of life
and I pass you by don’t hold it against me please, I will not be using my extra
pair of eye.
2019 will be amazing! I can feel it in my gutter, you wait
and see what the Lord can do when you give Him ALL of you. Tell you what, I
becon you to join in and give Him your ALL. Do not hold Back! Close your eyes
Jump in to the waters of Faith. Let all You see, feel, breath, is FAITH in HIS
will.
